2026-2027 Competitive Teams
Spartans Volleyball Club offers competitive indoor volleyball opportunities for athletes looking to train, compete, and develop at a high level in a positive, challenging, and team-focused environment.

Our competitive teams are designed for athletes who are committed to improving their skills, competing in tournaments throughout the season, and developing both on and off the court. Teams focus on technical skill development, tactical systems, athletic growth, teamwork, leadership, and a strong club culture.

The Spartans Indoor Program typically offers teams from 12U–18U for both male and female athletes, with multiple team pathways available in some age groups to support athlete development at different levels.
​
To help athletes prepare for tryouts, Spartans plans to offer 2–3 Spartans Open Gym Series Events prior to tryouts. These opportunities provide athletes an opportunity to get extra touches, showcase skills, meet coaches, and become familiar with the Spartans training environment before tryouts begin.
​
Tryouts for the 2027 indoor season will begin in September, with athletes expected to attend sessions for their appropriate age category.
​
Additional tryout information, Spartans Open Gym Series Events dates, team offerings, schedules, coaches, and registration details will be released in mid-July.
​
In 2026, Spartans offered multiple competitive teams across several age categories, including Apex, Phoenix, and Valour pathways. We hope to offer a similar structure again in 2027 based on registration and coaching availability.
​
Most competitive teams typically run from September to April; however, some younger teams and multi-sport athletes may conclude following December Volleyball New Brunswick (VNB) Provincials to better support athlete balance, family schedules, and long-term development. Our Apex teams are expected to run a full competitive season in 2027.
