Carlos started playing volleyball in grade seven for ESA, and also played Spartans ever since. After graduating high school, he played at UNBSJ for two years. He wanted to stay in the volleyball environment so decided to coach Bliss Carmen Middle School.

Carlos enjoys an environment where things are organized on the court. He aims to make sure that players are always talking and always keeping a positive mind set.

Sam spent his volleyball career playing for ESA and Spartans. He has since had the opportunity to coach bliss Carmen boys and girls in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

Sam's main focus as a coach is for players to have fun. He aims to create friendships rather than a strict coach-player relationship. He also enjoys seeing the players improve throughout the season.
